Welcome to Waseelah. By accessing or using our app and website (waseelah.app), you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. General Use

You agree to use the Waseelah app and website responsibly and in accordance with Islamic ethics and UK law. You must not misuse the platform, upload false or misleading information, attempt to disrupt our services, or engage in abusive behaviour.

2. Submissions & Listings (Pre-Moderated)

Users may submit classes, events, tutors, services, or other listings from within the app. All submissions are pre-moderated and reviewed by Waseelah before publication. Submission does not guarantee publication. You confirm that all information is accurate, lawful, and that you have the right to share any text or images provided.

4. Moderation, Reporting & Enforcement

Waseelah reviews submissions prior to publication and may edit, reject, or remove content at our discretion. If you believe any listing violates these Terms, please report it to info@waseelah.co.uk. We review and act on reports within 24 hours, which may include removal of content and blocking the abusive user from submitting further listings. Repeat or serious violations may result in permanent removal and, where appropriate, notification to relevant authorities.

5. User Accounts & Blocking

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to submission features where we reasonably believe a user has violated these Terms, submitted objectionable content, or abused the platform. Upon substantiated request, we may restrict visibility or interaction relating to abusive users.

6. Intellectual Property & Takedown

All Waseelah branding, design, and platform content (excluding user submissions) are owned by Waseelah Ltd and may not be copied, modified, or redistributed without written permission. If you believe content infringes your rights, email info@waseelah.co.uk with details of the work, the allegedly infringing material, your contact information, and a good-faith statement of ownership; we will investigate promptly and remove infringing content where appropriate.

7. Third-Party Services & Listings

Waseelah displays community listings for third-party events and services. We do not endorse or guarantee the quality, safety, or legitimacy of any third-party offering. You engage with such services at your own discretion and risk. Always verify details with the organiser before attending or purchasing.

8. Payments & Promotions

The app is free to use. Some organisers may charge for their own services on their websites or forms; such transactions occur outside the app. Waseelah may receive external payments (e.g., bank transfer or invoice) from organisations that wish to promote or feature their listings. No in-app purchases or digital unlocks are offered by Waseelah.

9. Invite & Rewards Programme

The invite/referral feature is optional and does not restrict access to the app. Users may receive rewards (e.g., free promotional listings) upon meeting stated referral thresholds. Any attempt to manipulate referrals (e.g., fake or fraudulent sign-ups) may result in disqualification, suspension, or removal.

10. Disclaimers

The Waseelah app and website are provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. We make no warranties or guarantees of any kind, whether express or implied, including accuracy, reliability, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Waseelah Ltd shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app or website, including loss of data, opportunity, or reputation, or issues arising from third-party listings or service errors.

12. Platform-Specific Terms (EULA)

iOS users acknowledge that, in addition to these Terms, the Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA) applies to use of the app on Apple devices. In the event of conflict, these Terms apply to our services and content moderation, while Apple’s EULA governs your licence to use the iOS application.

We may update these Terms to reflect improvements or legal/regulatory requirements. Material updates will be posted here with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
